"Subtle waves of energy pulse across the expansive desert landscape. The horizon is tangibly whomping. Circulating. Spinning like a bullroarer. The entire landscape glistens with salt. As I sing the information pours in along the energetic pathways. Here, soaked wet within a 4 billion year old hydrosphere. I am dissolve. Synthesised and inseparable with the surrounds. All that exists is particles and waves. Here in the wilderness of oneness, vibration finds it’s voice and becomes song. And she is timelessness." "I sit quietly inside the belly of the ancient Earth work listening. The Earth rings like a bell. As do the stones of the structure sing. There is a resonance here as dawn’s light illuminates the circular stone complex. It’s dry rock walls are stacked meticulously with remotely sourced black reef shale high in quartz. As I sing the melodies and vibrations of the land gently open out into an interconnected nexus of energy lines."
A Little Of My Story
How did this Planetary Music Journey begin?
The Planetary Grid Music project began quite organically. The places literally called me in waking dreams and visions like bleeps on a radar going off in my consciousness. As I toured internationally to perform at festivals around the world I have been lucky enough to visit and sing at these places. It was a natural process to record and film the music to share the incredible energy of these special places with the world.
When did your singing in nature start?
Ever since I can remember - I grew up in a tiny town in the South Australian desert. I spent my childhood in the vast open landscape connecting with the land. Nature has always been my playground and my temple. I taught myself to sing sitting around the fire under 360 degree desert starscapes.
What language are you singing?
The songs are sung spontaneously in direct response to the Earth from being in a state of deep listening and reverence. I translate pure energy into sound and vibration through the universal language of music.
